DALLAS -- Disney's Tony(R) Award-winning musical, THE LION KING, went on sale Saturday, May 18 at both Bass Performance Hall and Dallas Summer Musicals' New Box Office at Preston Royal Shopping Center and generated an all-time sales record of 5,995 tickets, for a total of $434,845 at Bass Performance Hall and 23,561 tickets, for a total of $1,551,083 at Dallas Summer Musicals' New Box Office at Preston Royal Shopping Center, totaling 29,556 tickets and $1,985,928 for the metroplex.
