Upon reaching the conclusion of Art / Lover, the new biography of collector and gal-about-town Peggy Guggenheim, all I could think was ``how could someone make such a colorful life seem so dull''?
The personal and professional sides of Guggenheim certainly have seen the sun before. She wrote about herself - endlessly - and so have others. But despite attempts to corral great herds of detail, author Anton Gill mainly winds up lost in the minutiae. Not once did I feel he had been ...
