PHILADELPHIA _ Lynn Elias wanted a tighter tummy for her wedding.
For $59.95, she purchased the AB Energizer, a volt-inducing belt _ one of several on the market _ that promise "the tight abs you've been dreaming about without breaking a sweat."
But the resident of Audubon, N.J., never developed a washboard on her midriff, and now she wants her money back.
In fact, she wants a refund for 50,000 Americans who bought the device. Last week, Elias, 29, filed a lawsuit in state court that, if successful, would make that happen.
"She figured there are a lot of people out there like herself," said Elias' attorney, Stephen P. DeNittis.
