The New Jersey Society of CPAs, Roseland, announced the following information of some of its members. The 2001-2002 NJSCPA Service Award was presented to Alan J. Preis, president of Alan J. Preis, CPA, P.C., Florham Park, for his leadership and service to the NJSCPA during his 30 years of membership. Preis has served on numerous committees on both the state and local levels, including the Hudson Chapter Executive Committee and the NJSCPA Board of Trustees. He has chaired the NJSCPAs' State Taxation and Multi-state Taxation committees, has served as chaff of the NJ-CPA Political Action Committee and sits on the editorial board of New Jersey CPA.
