Chavez Names New Vice President
Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez shuffled his cabinet on Sunday in an apparent move to reconcile with opposition demands for change, two weeks after he survived a failed coup that ousted him for two days.
The flamboyant president named his defense minister and ally, Jose Vicente Rangel, as vice president, and said he would soon announce changes to the government's economic team.
