IN THE LAST ISSUE, I offered a broad overview of the different adjustments you'll need to employ to improve your bowling. Now I'll focus on one of the major ones a bowler may use: angle.
When I talk about angle, I mean making a decision about where you are going to stand to start, the angle your body will face, where you are going to finish, any targets through which the ball will pass, and what shape the ball path will take while going down the lane. To best comprehend all the variables, it first helps to understand the actual layout of the lane.
