May 24--Back Yard Burgers, Inc. announced Wednesday a development agreement with Black Angus Burgers Inc. that could potentially increase their presence outside the mid-South.

The agreement could result in 40 and possibly more restaurants being added to the 104 currently in operation.

The new restaurants would be built and operated in and around Tampa, St. Petersburg and Lakeland, Fla.; and in counties of South Carolina, specifically around Charleston and Myrtle Beach, officials said Thursday.
