ACCORDING to the Noel Coward song it's only mad dogs and Englishmen who go out in the midday sun.
But at the 1970 WorldMEXICO 1970 Cup finals in Mexico everyone was at it.
The reason? Some bright spark at FIFA thought it would be better for television if the games were played at midday...in temperatures approaching 100-degrees fahrenheit!
...
