LOUIS CAMILLERI ISN'T even officially CEO of Philip Morris Cos. until April 25. But he's already received a healthy dose of prodding from outspoken consumer advocates calling for the demise of the famed Marlboro Man.
Camilleri, 47, succeeds Geoffrey Bible this month as president and CEO of the world's largest tobacco and consumer goods producer. Formerly CFO, Camilleri brings to the table nearly 25 years of experience at Philip Morris, including stints in both domestic and international divisions.
Now the new Philip Morris figurehead, he's the target of watchdog groups seeking to end tobacco addiction.
