WE'VE BEEN CALLED to the barricades, fellow citizens! Marauding out-of-state banks are threatening our communities, our very way of life!
That is the fevered language employed in a recent series of advertisements sponsored by a national association of real estate agents (they go by another name, but they get all huffy when you don't capitalize their made-up word for real estate agent, so for simplicity's sake we'll use the generic occupational title).
