Kevin Colburn got the traditional ice water-bucket-over-the-head treatment Tuesday.
That's because the La Crosse Central softball team doused Madison La Follette's hopes for a state tournament berth.
The Red Raiders beat Madison La Follette 4-3 at Pierce Park in Baraboo to advance to the Division 1 state tournament for the second straight year.
"They always believed they could do it. They're peaking at the right time," said Colburn, whose team is 19-4.
