TEL AVIV, Israel -- On May 27th, at 8 p.m., a ceremony at Tel Aviv University will honor the first ever winners of the Dan David Prize, who this year are from the US and Europe
The Dan David Prize annually awards three individuals or organizations a sum of $1 million each for their outstanding work as it relates to the Past, Present, and Future. Nominations for next year's prizes are open; although this year's winners are from the field of academia, winners can be from any field of activity. One particular feature of the Dan David Prize is that $100,000 of each award is set aside for research grants for young scholars in the winner's field of study.
