TAMPA, Fla. -- Ernst & Young LLP today announced that it has signed an agreement to hire 26 professionals and staff of Andersen's office in Tampa. The transaction involves 26 audit and tax people, including 3 partners. All new hires will relocate to Ernst & Young's office located at 100 North Tampa Street.
The Andersen partners will become partners at Ernst & Young. They are Michael H. Blount, Michael J. Brennan and Gregory A. Rosica. The integration of the Andersen professionals will begin immediately. There will be a total of 220 staff in the Tampa office and over 2,000 throughout Ernst & Young's Southeast area.
