MILWAUKEE -- In order to maintain choice and affordability for the residents of Connecticut, Fortis Health announced today that it has initiated an action with the Connecticut Department of Insurance through its legal entity, John Alden Life Insurance Company. John Alden provides group health insurance plans to Connecticut's small business owners. The action comes as a result of the DOI's insistence that John Alden comply with inapplicable statutes that create "one-size-fits-all" health insurance coverages.
