LOS ANGELES -- The British government has officially awarded Los Angeles based AEG the rights to develop and manage a 20,000-seat state of the art arena inside London's Millennium Dome it will be announced today at a press conference in London.
AEG, the organization responsible for the creation of STAPLES Center in Los Angeles, has committed a minimum of $200 million to create a state-of-the-art fully enclosed arena within the Dome that would fill a vital gap in London's venue market and become Europe's premier entertainment and sports facility.
