SAN JOSE, Calif. _ There are a lot of good things about having a network TV show _ fame and fortune come to mind _ but comedian Christopher Titus discovered something bad, too.
He couldn't work on his cars.
His eponymous show, a darkly funny comedy that debuted on Fox in 2000, meant 15-hour days. When he wasn't writing, directing or acting, Titus had to sleep. That left no time to get grease under his fingernails.
But since the show's cancellation earlier this month, Titus has the time to tinker. He stayed up to 1 a.m. the other night rewiring his `49 Ford woodie wagon. "After six hours in the garage, I came out feeling refreshed afterword," he ...
