PARIS -- Sephora is peddling the language of beauty.
The LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton-owned perfumery chain's European branch, under the auspices of its president Serge Brunschwig, Thursday kicked off its premier large-scale advertising campaign -- which is also Sephora's first media push since 1987. It is comprised primarily of billboard ads and in-store visuals.
At its heart is the tag line: "Beauty is a language."
For the ad, Sephora signed up Glen Luchford, of Le Singe agency, who shot nine visuals featuring models Rachel Kirby and Lawrence Chapman. These images are placed side by side with text panels above the store's merchandising ...
