WITH THREE MASTER'S DEGREES -- in nursing administration, public health, and the care of children and families -- and a PhD in health services research and health policy, Tener Coodwin Veenema is a full-time tenure track faculty member at the University of Rochester in upstate New York. She holds a joint appointment in the School of Nursing and in the Department of Emergency Medicine and an adjunct appointment in the University of Rochester College of Arts and Sciences.
