Mr. Speaker: I rise to speak today on behalf of all Minnesota parents who are concerned about their children. While there may be more urgent issues affecting the moral well-being of our youngsters - such as the proliferation of methamphetamines in rural areas, rising teen pregnancies in the inner cities, and the general disposition of education in our state - nothing quickens the pulse quite so much as the shameful specter of boys wrestling with girls.
I say shameful, Mr. Speaker, because that is how some of our young male wrestlers truly feel when matched against a female grappler. They feel this way because we have taught them to ...
