ADDIS ABABA, Ethiopia _ Salaam, a tiny orphan girl, was grabbing at Irish rock star Bono's trademark blue sunglasses at a shelter in this East African capital. So Bono placed them on Salaam's small head, as the room erupted in laughter: "You're a pop star," he declared.
A gray-suited Treasury Secretary Paul O'Neill, who was holding the beaming toddler, looked at the black-attired Bono, and joked, "Now you see how funny you look."
"It's been 10 days, and he finally got it out," Bono quipped back.
