MONTGOMERY WARD AND THRIFTY CAR RENTAL ENTER TEST AGREEMENT
CHICAGO, July 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Montgomery Ward & Co., Incorporated, and Thrifty Car Rental have begun testing the viability of offering car rental services to the retailer's customer base in selected markets.
The test agreement with Thrifty, North America's fifth largest car rental company and a subsidiary of Chrysler Corp. (NYSE: C), consists of two parts: the establishing of Thrifty rental offices in selected Montgomery Ward stores; and accepting the Montgomery Ward credit card at all 24 Washington-area Thrifty rental locations.
