Jun. 2--PADUCAH, Ky.--It's not hard to spot someone looking to steal anhydrous ammonia and make methamphetamine.
"We noticed a car casing us out last week," said Tommy Thompson, manager of Royster-Clark, a bulk supplier of the nitrogen-rich fertilizer in Fancy Farm.
The little red car with Arkansas tags repeatedly sped up and slowed down, finally turning around within sight of the facility and checking things over again.
"If somebody is driving here at 25 to 30 mph instead of 55 to 60 as everybody else does, they stick out like a sore thumb," Thompson said.
