DEERFIELD -- Dennis Borger, now 51, went to a household auction at 14 and came away with his first antique, bought for $4.50.
"It was a crank-operated phonograph," Borger said. "I've still got it."
That's not for sale, but lots of other stuff is -- at Borger's antique mall. Borger founded Old Deerfield Antiques 11 years ago at 37 N. Main St., in a building that formerly housed a grocery store.
Prices range from $3 for a small Raggedy Ann doll in good condition to $1,200 for an 1875 stained glass window.
