IBM today announced a new business unit to provide a wide range of design services for manufacturers of information systems, networking gear and consumer electronic products.
The new unit will help OEM customers reduce cost, time-to-market and complexity from designing systems internally. It also will help them exploit the latest technologies and integrate hardware and software for everything from chip development to delivery of complete systems.
