FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., July 26 /PRNewswire/ -- Alamo Rent A Car, Inc., the largest independently owned and operated car rental firm in the United States, today announced that its shareholders have purchased the upscale United Kingdom car rental firm Guy Salmon Services, Ltd., a privately-held company providing luxury car rental and chauffeur services throughout the U.K. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
