IT was the moment when the leisurely world of the horse and carriage-driving aristocrat collided with that of the busy bus driver with a timetable to keep.
Unsurprisingly, it was Diana, Countess of Lindsay's form of transport which came off worst.
After the Stagecoach bus 'zoomed past' them, her palomino horses bolted into the path of an oncoming car. Her carriage was smashed to pieces and she and her groom suffered multiple injuries.
The bus driver, meanwhile, continued on his way, oblivious to the drama.
