HANOI, June 5 Asia Pulse - The Vietnam General Rubber Corporation (Geruco) has stepped up trade promotion and initiated restructuring of production patterns to boost exports, expecting prices to continue northward.
An increase of 5 per cent is expected in prices this year, the Geruco said following studies by international rubber organisations.
It has been VND8.2 million (US$537.40) per tonne on average in the last two months, up VND2 million over the first two months, reaching a high of VND9.54 million last month.
