Hennepin County prosecutors argue in court papers that a former Appeals Court judge should serve more prison time than state guidelines recommend, in part because of his victim's vulnerability and the size of the crime.

Those are the exact factors that the former judge, Roland Amundson, cited in 1991 when he wrote an appellate decision upholding a sentence that was three times what state guidelines recommended for another person.
