NCAE SAYS EDUCATION A WINNER IN 1990 GENERAL ASSEMBLY
RALEIGH, N.C., July 30 /PRNewswire/ -- "Even though the state faced its worst budget year in recent history, education came out a winner in the 1990 General Assembly. We fought many battles for education funding," said NCAE President Julia Kron, "and we won them through our persistence and determination.
"NCAE wasn't willing to give up any of the items in its legislative agenda," added Kron. "And thanks to the presence of the NCAE, legislators gave education full attention."
