It was all about cheese.

In a series of seemingly dueling newspaper advertisements this week, Pizza Hut and Dairy Management Inc., the organization that promotes U.S.-produced dairy products, went at it briefly Tuesday and Wednesday, with the dairy promoters saying that Pizza Hut was not appreciating the diary industry or its cows.

This stemmed, the dairy group said, from the fact that Pizza Hut is the largest user of cheese in the world and that the bovine community was feeling under-appreciated.
