The 2002 Pritzker Architecture Prize, a $100,000 award given by the Hyatt Foundation, was recently presented to Australian Glenn Murcutt. Little known outside the architecture world, Murcutt, who is also a farmer, specializes in green, or ecologically sustainable, architecture, which attempts to diminish a building's impact on the environment.
