MICK McCarthy looks set to resist the temptation of an aerial assault against Saudi Arabia on Tuesday.
McCarthy gave the broadest hint yet that he will continue to hold Niall Quinn in reserve as Ireland chase the two goals that will secure their progression to Korea for the next phase of the competition.
