EXHAUSTED by the Royal jubilations and the excitement of the footie I decided to walk it off. A long, testing coastal hike seemed the order of the day, so I sought out a bus to deliver me to a start point from where I could walk back.

Bus services outside towns and cities are, at best, erratic and, thanks to deregulation, confusing. One company will not help another.
