A PENSIONER who stole and ate her neighbours' koi carp was yesterday ordered to pay them pounds 35,000.

Ellen Jones, 75, is alleged to have netted the fish in the couple's garden pond, then eaten them as they watched.

Lewes County Court ruled that the farm owner must pay Mark and Jane Fowler pounds 10,200 damages plus pounds 25,000 legal costs.
