RUTHIN remain top of the Readers Romida North Wales League Division One after a four-wicket home victory over Bangor seconds.
Bangor were bowled out for 105, Mike Henderson picking up 3-12, before Ruthin replied with 106-6.
Gresford lost ground in a shock nine-runs defeat at Bethesda.
Bethesda hit 165-8, with Dan Roberts running up 59 and Carwyn Williams 47 as John Bell bagged 5-35 and Mike Plant 2-30. Gresford got as close as 156-9, Gwyn Williams making 40 and Mike Claire 29 as Jamie Creek collected 5-29 and Iestyn Roberts 2-38.
