Dear Carol: Can you identify this weed for me? It has invaded our flower garden and looks like little Christmas trees.
Roundup does not seem to kill it. I have been told it is either yarrow or pigweed, but the pictures in the weed reference do not seem to match up. I've also been told it is "paint brush," but couldn't find a reference for it in the literature. Do you think a broad leaf weed killer containing 2, 4-D will kill my little Christmas trees? - J.O., via e-mail.
