JAKARTA, June 11 Asia Pulse - Bank Indonesia plans to retender its planned sale of Bank Indover, its subsidiary in the Netherlands, an official at the central bank said here Monday.
"We are going to seek new investors because the two bidders so far have bid too low. So we are retendering the sale," Bank Indonesia Deputy Governor Miranda Gultom said.
She said the central bank was now restructuring the bank so that it could be sold more easily.
Bank Indover, whose shares are 100 per cent held by Bank Indonesia, is one of the central bank's subsidiaries which the International Monetary Fund (IMF) has asked to sell.
