Jun. 11--Rocky Mountain HMO is now Rocky Mountain Health Plans, a company that serves 122,000 Coloradans and hopes to swell those figures with new insurance products that will be available this summer.

With the name change comes a new chief executive officer. Longtime CEO Mike Weber, who founded the company in 1974 in Grand Junction, has retired. His replacement is John P. Hopkins, who has been president of RMHMO and was chosen as the new CEO following a nationwide search last fall.
