A333MVA sub-station is under construction at Aflao in Ghana's Volta Region. The transformer is intended to serve the new multi-million dollar Diamond Cement factory and to improve power supply in the region and the country as a whole.
The Director of Public Affairs of the Volta River Authority (VRA), Ellen Esilfie, disclosed during a tour to the project site that design and construction will be undertaken by VRA engineers at the behest of the Diamond Cement Ghana Ltd.
