MORTGAGE ASSISTANCE BY REAL ESTATE AGENTS HELPS CONSUMERS, NAR REPORTS
WASHINGTON, Aug. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- The home buying process is becoming more streamlined and efficient, due to the growing involvement of real estate brokers in mortgage origination, according to the National Association of Realtors.
The ability of real estate brokers to fulfill consumer demand for additional services, and their right to collect a fully disclosed fee for doing so, was discussed today by NAR President Norman D. Flynn during a congressional hearing before the housing subcommittee of the House Banking Committee.
