THE deputy head of an Essex college told of her terror when a teenager approached her waving a samurai sword, shouting "Come and get yours."
Havering College vice-principal Denise Brown explained that gangs of Asian and black youths went on a rampage around the campus in Hornchurch.
Groups of armed Asians chased other youths across a busy road, beating those they caught with wooden clubs Ms Brown told Snaresbrook Crown Court.
She told the jury how she and colleagues ran after the youths, who were wielding batons, baseball bats and the samurai sword.
