Australia's magnesium industry, which boasts the world's biggest known deposit, is aiming to supply half the world market for the metal over the next 20 years.
That's one of the goals in the national Light Metals Action Agenda which is now ready for implementation. The Minister for Industry, Tourism and Resources, Ian Macfarlane, today announced the members of the Steering Committee responsible for progressing that agenda.
