NEW YORK, April 4 (AScribe Newswire) -- Barnard College will honor Judy C. Lewent, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Merck & Co., Inc., and David H. Komansky, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Merrill Lynch & Co., Inc., for their civic and charitable contributions at the College's fifteenth Annual Awards Dinner, on Tuesday, May 14, 2002.
Lewent will be the recipient of The Iphigene Ochs Sulzberger Award, named for the alumna and civic leader. Komansky will receive The Frederick A.P. Barnard Award, named for the tenth president of Columbia University, and an early supporter of women's education.
