At the Index02 nonwovens exhibition held in April in Geneva, Switzerland, Dow Chemical unveiled new research aimed at creating better performing hygiene products.
A technical paper presented at the Index Congress demonstrated more effective approaches for controlling fluid intake in order to keep skin dry, thereby improving skin health.
Global Market Manager, Superabsorbent Products, Rick May said: "The rate of fluid uptake is a critical factor in the performance of any disposable diaper. That is why we have developed new and more effective approaches for controlling absorption rate in superabsorbents."
