What was once some of the finest seafood swimming free in the North. Pacific has been reduced to the status of cat/dog food by a fisherman whose only apparent goal is to make some cash so he can race dog teams.
I'm referring to your Jan. 2002 cover shot of a Cook Inlet setnet skiff littered with prime sockeye salmon but could just as well be a load of beach rocks or driftwood! Where's the ice? Where's the wind/sun protection? Where is this guy's head at?
