NUSA DUA, Bali, June 14 Asia Pulse - The Australian Wheat Board (ASX:AWB) welcomed representatives from some 30 Southeast Asian wheat flour businesses for a two-day meeting at the Indonesian resort island of Bali Thursday.
They discussed a wide range of issues related to the wheat flour industry, technology, management and cooperation in anticipation of the free market under the ASEAN Free Trade Area (AFTA).
Chairman of the Indonesian Wheat Flour Producers Association (Aptindo) Franciscus Welirang expressed hope that the AWB-sponsored meeting could be held each year.
