When Chester Sagenkahn and his wife, Esther, built this classic contemporary house in , it was one of the first of its kind in the Bradford Hills neighborhood.
"We built and designed it," said Chester, a well-known interior designer who has been in business 64 years in Syracuse. The house, furnishings and decor are nearly intact since it was built 44 years ago.
"We just loved it and didn't want to change it," said Chester, who designed the rooms and many of the furnishings.
Syracuse architect James Curtin drew the plans based on the Sagenkahns' design.
