Employees streaming movie trailers at work are likely causing significant problems for their companies' networks, research company Websense says.
The number of streaming media websites that include online movie trailers has increased by 412 per cent in the last year to more than 400,000, Websense said.
However, people are more likely to be using streaming media technology to view movie trailers online at work rather than at home, which is slowing down corporate bandwidth, the research firm said.
