Jun. 15--Six years ago, when the Charlotte County Speedway's board ousted president Leroy Davidson, he vowed that one day he'd regain control of the quarter-mile stock car racetrack he built from scratch in 1987.
Now, Davidson says he is close to achieving that goal. He said he bought out another shareholder, Glen Vanhorn of Ohio. Davidson now claims he and his sister, Mary Benson, own 100 percent of the company.
