AUSTIN, Texas -- Wayport, the leading provider of high-speed Wi-Fi (802.11b) wireless and wired Internet access in hotels and airports, today announced that it will offer customers of select IBM ThinkPad* mobile computers, preloaded with Microsoft Windows XP, a free 30-day trial of Wayport's high-speed Internet access.

Wayport will offer the free access to users of IBM ThinkPads equipped with a Wi-Fi wireless or wired Ethernet card, allowing them to take immediate advantage of the computer's integrated Wi-Fi (802.11b) wireless and Ethernet capabilities at more than 450 hotels and nine airports (including 13 Laptop Lane airport business centers) on Wayport's ...
